Featured Artist: Maria DeAngelo is a studio artist, working in the Capital Region of New York State. Maria grew up in Schenectady, and taught in and around the Adirondack Park for many years. Her love of the interaction of color and the beauty of nature continue to influence her work created in diverse media. She has been an Artist in Residence at Arlene’s Artist Materials located in Albany, NY, and is a member of several local art groups including The Schenectady Art Society, Firehouse Artist, The Albany Artists Group, as well as ArtWorks in the Adirondacks. She loves exploring the beauty of everyday objects, and intersections between personal history and plant forms using printmaking, painting and stitching.

Tomorrow is the big Stockade Villagers’ Outdoor Art Show and the weather is looking perfect! We can't wait to see everyone.

Because this is our 75th anniversary year, we have a lot of history to celebrate. Don't miss the special exhibit, "Founding Fathers" of the Art Show, hanging on the Lawrence fence.

We have just two more days until our 75th anniversary Stockade Villagers’ Outdoor Art Show on Saturday!

Inner Bliss Yoga Studio will be hosting a Free Outdoor Yoga Sound Fusion open to the public on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m.

Come stretch out and relax and look at some amazing local art afterwards! Find us in the grass by Governor's Lane. Bring your mat, a towel and water. Donations are welcome, all donations will go towards the Scholarship Fund at Inner Bliss Yoga Studio to support making yoga more accessible.

Featured Artist: Kerri Sinnenberg. Find Kerri at the Stockade Villagers’ Outdoor Art Show on Saturday!

Kerri Sinnenberg is an Upstate New York artist and longtime interior designer whose intuitive abstract paintings explore nature, movement, color and forms that emerge through the painting process. After years of working creatively in design, Kerri returned to a dedicated fine-art practice in 2026, creating original acrylic paintings on canvas and reclaimed cabinet panels, as well as small works in watercolor. Her painting Emergence of Light was recently selected for the Albany Center Gallery Summer Art Fest Pop-Up Gallery.

At the Stockade Art Show, Kerri will be exhibiting a collection of original paintings and small original watercolors, along with samples of her new limited-edition archival giclée prints.
