The State College Elks #1600 warmly received three new members to the lodge in a very formal and solemn initiation ceremony on Tuesday evening. We wholeheartedly welcome our new members and look forward to their help and participation.

The wind, a little stronger than normal that day, was of that velocity which is loved by flags! Most of the nine flags flown during the ceremony stood nicely unfurled allowing all to see their colors, designs and patterns! The Flag Day ceremony is always a reminder of who we are, the origin of our flag and a reminder of its solemn importance and the respect of which it is so deserving.
