EMOTIONAL AND ALIVE. This is the work of accomplished painter and Kobo Gallery artist Antoine de Villiers. Visceral XIII is a unique 10 in. x 8 in. mixed media painting 🖼️ on wood, showing a female shoulder, back, and hand in gray tones. Influenced by a generation where image-making became accessible through devices like the Brownie and Polaroid, her art blends traditional and modern elements, combining bright colors 🌈 and polished surfaces with soft focus and abstraction to explore the interplay between past and present.
