Good Day our Midtown Arthouse Family,

After a year filled with creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences, Midtown Art House will officially close its doors on June 30, 2026. We are deeply grateful for the artists, supporters, visitors, and community members who helped make Midtown Art House a welcoming and inspiring space over the past year. The relationships formed, conversations shared, and art experienced together have meant more than words can express. While this decision was not an easy one, circumstances beyond our control have made it necessary for us to close at this time. Thank you to Sharokin , Eric David Wooddell Andrea Schappert and everyone who supported Midtown Arthouse and believed in the importance of local art, creativity, and community. We will always cherish the memories and the incredible people who walked through our doors.

Last night's Mama's Art show last night was another spectacular evening of amazing artists who just happened to also be Mothers!!

The artists include Florence BetIshue Deborah Sherron Miller Kim L Owens Becky Prescott Karen Malofy, Kim Swann Sherry Parker Daniel and Brenda Martin. What has been so inspiring is to hear the artists speak about the work. A few of the Moms who attended had to leave early before they presented and a few were unable to attend. This is what Mom life is all about. Your schedule is not your own. It's your partners. It's your children. It's your job. It's.... the repairs, the shopping, cleaning- you get the picture!!

So for women who mothers who make art- wow!!!! What a gift of creativity you give to world. The show last night represents your skills as artisans and the emotions of a mother's love. To find time and energy to create and take care of your family is why women are so f*cking cool!

Art will be up on Saturday from 10-1.

Midtown Arthouse celebrates the creative voices behind the nurturing hands. Mama's Art is a heartfelt showcase dedicated to artist-moms! We want to create a space where motherhood and artistry meet.

All art forms are welcome: painting, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, ceramics, mixed media, digital work, and beyond. If you make it and you're a mom, this show is for you.
