Here’s a throwback from my live drawing session (why haven’t I done more of these? 🤔) for Batman Day! I realized I haven’t done much of Batman...but that may change in the foreseeable future (*hint ) But here his is in all his tangled, complications with our fav feline femme fatale! Who wants to see more Batman from me in the future? Maybe some classic comic art too?

My collab with begins today with the NYMFW! Our first collection is from which had a beautiful new approach to the urban lifestyle. Always known for his luxury streetwear, this collection had many covetable pieces. I personally loved the 90’s Americana pop-culture references like this CK, Herb Ritts, moment. A guy, his leather motorcycle jacket, and his boxer briefs. What else do you need?

I thought the only comic character that could pull this off was... Daken! He def has a 90’s vibe with the hair, tribal tats, and the chiseled physique. You can feel the pheromones dripping off of him. Enjoy!

So I’ve been scared to convert to I know, get over it. But, I’m so used to working in Illustrator it wasn’t giving me the same effects. Finally, I said screw it! I’ll experiment and see how I can use it in a new way!

Pride can be celebrated every day, but this month helps remind and educate all of us about what our community has experienced. The fight for equality continues and all I hope for is a universal love between all of our communities. I hope we all continue to share our stories. What we’ve fought for. Our rights. Our fears. Our love.

To all of my gay and q***r artists, I celebrate you all year. Every day. The amount of strength, intelligence, and creativity is overwhelmingly inspiring. Every day I discover a new artist and am so proud to hear your voice and see your talents. I love that we all can contribute to this world through our creativity! I’m excited to create, see, support, and share some amazing art this summer!

Comics, cartoons, and fashion all represent me. These iconic creative elements helped me identify with like-minded individuals and philosophies. I’m thankful I had an outlet where I could relate and connect. That’s why I celebrate these characters and cultural movements in my art. I can’t wait to further explore these influences and share them with you all.
