A message from one of our producers, Rebel Vitale:
I have sad news and exciting news!
After a very long and very hard decision, Jack and I have decided to close the Savannah Burlesque Festival. I moved to Asheville 4 years ago after discussions and plans for the 1st ever Savannah Burlesque Festival we’re already in the works and wanted to see it though, but the difficulty of planning a festival from 4.5 hours away has been hard on me and my family. Even though Jack (my co-producer) is local and a hell of a super human, he can’t do it alone. We knew this year would be the last and we hope we went out with a bang!!!! I want to thank all of the performers, staff, volunteers, patrons and venues who made it so special over the past 4 years. Even though it was really tough it always felt worth it in the end.

Now for the exciting news!!!! Rebel Vitale is helping Queen April in co-producing a festival that was started here in Asheville! Formally known as , we’re bringing you “Land of the Sky Burlesque Festival”
Jack is even coming on board for some graphic design help!
Applications are open and headliner announcements are coming soon.
They say the only thing that is constant is change. Savannah is my home away from home, and it is full of amazing local burlesque performers who will continue to bring incredible shows to the area.
I’m excited for these changes and I love Asheville, NC… it’s my forever home and I know anyone who visits it will love it too.
