We have some spots remaining for our brand new Summer Marine Science Camp session, Aquarium Apprentices! Held July 27-31, this camp for ages 14-15 gives a behind-the-scenes look at aquarium science and animal care. 🐠

Through lab, field, and boat experiences as well as working in the aquarium, participants will learn the basics of collecting and identifying marine fish and invertebrates and study their form and function. Additionally, they will learn about aquarium husbandry through the week, getting first-hand experience with feeding, tank maintenance and water quality. Perfect for teens who have a passion for the ocean and interested in working with marine life!

The UGA Aquarium will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 13 and Wednesday, Jan. 14 for our annual staff meeting. We will reopen on Thursday.
