Investing in our youth means investing in the future of our communities. When young people are given safe, supportive spaces to learn, lead, serve, and connect with positive role models, they gain the confidence and skills needed to become engaged students, responsible citizens, and future leaders.

The Savannah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated invites families throughout Chatham, Bryan, and Effingham Counties to explore our FREE youth development programs for the 2026–2027 sororal year. Through organized sessions, participants engage in age-appropriate activities designed to promote academic excellence, leadership development, community service, personal growth, and preparation for the future.

❤️ Delta Academy supports young ladies ages 11–14 as they navigate adolescence while building confidence, strengthening academic skills, and exploring new possibilities.

💎 Delta GEMS provides young ladies ages 14–18 with opportunities to develop leadership skills, prepare for college and careers, and grow into confident, purpose-driven young women.

🖤 EMBODI engages young men ages 11–18 through mentorship and experiences that encourage academic achievement, leadership, personal development, and positive decision-making.

These programs create opportunities for young people to discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, serve their communities, and see what is possible for their futures.

⬇️ This!! Congratulations to our Miss Teen Miss Savannah Juneteenth, Madison Smith!!

🏈 One trip to the NFL Hall of Fame in Ohio may have changed the conversation about Savannah-area girls flag football.

One of only 22 teams invited in the nation, Calvary Day School traveled to Canton and played with the best!

The Cavaliers faced state champions, earned national recognition, and continued opening doors for players pursuing college opportunities in one of America's fastest-growing sports.

⭐ One Cavalier was even named All-Tournament Team.

An Update to Our Community

The foundation of Chosen For The Arts and the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Program rests on leadership, integrity, and professionalism. These are values we expect from every young woman who represents us.

Recently, our leadership team, Board of Directors, and scholarship sponsors reviewed actions that do not align with these expectations. As a result, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to discontinue one participant's association with the program.

While we will not address individual details publicly out of respect for everyone's privacy, we are fully committed to safeguarding the integrity of our organization, sponsors, volunteers, and the rest of our contestants.

We are incredibly grateful for our community's support as we move forward and refocus on what matters most: uplifting young women through leadership, scholarship, service, and excellence.

These young ladies represented themselves, their titles, and the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant with grace, confidence, and professionalism beyond their years. Many in attendance were inspired, and since the event we’ve received text messages, emails, and inbox messages praising the way they carried themselves and the impact they made.

Moments like these remind us why we do this work. Watching these young ladies step into leadership and excellence makes every hour, every challenge, and every investment worth it.

The future is bright, and we couldn’t be prouder. 👑✨

Last week, our newly crowned Miss Savannah Juneteenth and Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth had their first official assignment, serving as hostesses, presenters, and speakers at Mrs. Lillian Grant-Baptiste’s Jubilee Jubilation event at the JW Marriott Savannah.

The response to these young ladies was overwhelming. They represented themselves, their titles, and our organization with grace, confidence, and professionalism beyond their years. Those in attendance were inspired, and since the event we’ve received countless text messages, emails, and inbox messages praising the way they carried themselves and the impact they made.

A special thank you to our judges for selecting these outstanding young women to represent the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Program. Moments like these remind us why we do this work. Watching these young ladies step into leadership and excellence makes every hour, every challenge, and every investment worth it.

The future is bright, and we couldn’t be prouder. 👑✨
