Three years in as a full-time jeweler. Still learning, still growing, still making things by hand. I’ve experienced quite a few major life changes along the way. This year my focus will shift from in person markets, to expanding my creativity and moving towards more commission work. As I’m sure most of you know, sterling silver is at an all time high price ($114/oz as I’m typing this!! It was $21/oz when I started.) Tomorrow is your LAST opportunity to shop Made by Baylie in person for the foreseeable future. Tybee Holiday Market is from 12-8pm by the pier. I will not be there, but my good friend Kaitlyn will be filling in for me! I will be spending the winter in Alaska, and my March is already booked for outside of Savannah. I have no idea what 2026 will hold for myself, seeing as I currently do not have a workspace in Savannah, after losing it to house fire a week and a half ago.

I can not say thank you enough for all of the kind words, and support that has been shown to me over the last week. Setting up today was a bit overwhelming mentally, and I’ve hired a dear friend to set up for my very last market of the year, next Saturday on Tybee for the Mainstreet Holiday Market. The following day, Sunday, there will be a fundraiser at Molly’s on Wilmington for myself and the other displaced residents of building N.
