📣 T.I.A. IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE READY TO SERVE WITH PURPOSE!

We are growing, expanding, and continuing the work of Educating Youth, Empowering Women, and Engaging Families — and we need committed people who truly want to make a difference.

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to give their time, talents, experience, and heart for service across all three of our T.I.A. pillars.

That may include supporting our youth programs, mentoring, tutoring, women’s empowerment activities, family engagement, community outreach, voter education, phone banking, voter registration, election protection, community service projects, events, and more.

We are not looking for people who simply want their name on a flyer or to say they volunteered. We are looking for dependable, positive, impactful, service-minded people with genuine intentions who are willing to show up, work with others, and help strengthen families and communities.

There is room for different gifts, different backgrounds, and different levels of experience. If you have a heart to serve, we want to hear from you.

WE GOT US NOW ❤️🖤

As I close out this weekend in Macon, Georgia, and return home today, my biggest takeaway is simple: So grateful to be a fly on the wall.

Had the opportunity to es**rt a few of our T.I.A. youth leaders to an amazing leadership weekend, and watching them engage, ask questions, build connections, and have real conversations with other young leaders from several HBCUs was powerful.

One of our young people has already graduated from the School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High, while another is a current senior participating in work-based learning at a local hospital. Seeing them exposed to new spaces, new ideas, leadership, and possibilities reminded me why this work matters.

I truly believe we have to model what we want our young people to become. If we want them engaged, we have to show them what engagement looks like. If we want them to lead, serve, participate, and understand their civic responsibility, then they need to see us doing the same. And when we do that consistently and intentionally, they are watching and they are learning.

That is why “WE GOT US NOW” means so much to me. Our young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are leaders today. Having the opportunity to chaperone, volunteer, and simply be present with them this weekend meant more than I can say.

It starts at home. It starts with family. It starts in our communities. From there, our young people carry what they have learned into the world.

I am proud of every young person who showed up. There was leadership training, action planning, education, meaningful conversation, fellowship, games, laughter, and room for them to simply have fun.

A heartfelt thank you to the Rep GA / Win Without War Education Fund team, the Black Youth Renaissance Tour leadership team, our Black Voters Matter team, and everyone who helped create this experience.

Thank you for creating the room and allowing our youth to see that their voices, their ideas, and their futures matter.

Continue Educating Youth, Empowering Women, and Engaging Families while building Black power in and around our communities, city, county, and state—doing our best to lead by example all the way.

📣 TIA THROUGH IT ALL IS CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS — MOBILIZE WITH US!

At T.I.A. Through It All, we don’t pretend to have all the answers or all the solutions. What we do have is a commitment to show up, serve, connect people with resources, and work alongside organizations, leaders, families, youth, and community members who want to make a difference.

Everything we do comes back to three pillars:

💜 Educating Youth
💜 Empowering Women
💜 Engaging Families in Communities to stay engaged

And civic engagement is an important part of that work.

Being civically engaged is bigger than politics or Election Day. It means understanding what is happening in your community, knowing your voice matters, helping others access information, volunteering your time, learning how systems work, and being willing to participate in solutions.

That is why we are inviting people who are ready to serve, learn, lead, and mobilize to become part of the T.I.A. Volunteer Team.

There are opportunities to support:

⭐ Voter verification stations, Voter education and voter registration
⭐ Phone banking, door knocking and community outreach
⭐ Poll watching and election protection efforts
⭐ Youth and family engagement
⭐ Women’s empowerment initiatives
⭐ Community beautification and service projects
⭐ Events, workshops, resource tables, and partner activities

You do not have to know everything before you volunteer. Come willing to learn, willing to serve, and willing to be part of something bigger than yourself.

When our partners, community leaders, volunteers, families, and participants come together, our goal is simple: make sure people are informed, connected, empowered, and encouraged to use their voices.

📣 T.I.A. AFTER 3 + YOUTH MOVING FORWARD — SESSIONS is Back IN!

Dear Parents, Families, and Community Members,

T.I.A. Through It All is inviting new youth and families to join us for our upcoming After 3 + Youth Moving Forward virtual sessions!

Our youth programming focuses on helping young people grow personally, academically, and professionally through emotional intelligence, science and technology, entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, business planning, preparing for opportunities, leadership development, and building the mindset and skills needed for success.

If you have a young person who could benefit from a positive, engaging space to learn, connect, build confidence, and prepare for future opportunities, we would love to have them join us.

⏰ 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Youth will also have opportunities to learn more about Youth Moving Forward and our Beautification Team, along with additional activities and opportunities offered throughout the program.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to help their young people stay engaged and actively participate throughout the sessions.

Mobilized with us! Let’s level up 🆙 & Move forward! 🎚️

We’re back—and ready to keep moving forward! 💫

At T.I.A. Through It All, we believe keeping youth connected, supported, and engaged is part of building safer, stronger communities. Through our T.I.A. Twist-Away After 3 Enrichment Sessions and Youth Moving Forward initiatives, we’re creating opportunities for young people to create wellness, learn, lead, grow, serve, and thrive.

After a much-needed break, programming resumes this afternoon, and we’re excited to reconnect with our youth and families alongside our community and City of Savannah partners.

It takes all of us. When families stay engaged and our young people stay connected, we become part of the solution. 💪🏽

What a great day of partnership and community service! ❤️🎒🗳️

Today, our Coastal Georgia BVM partners came together for the “You Are Never Alone” We Got You! Back-to-School Giveaway and voter outreach effort at MLK Blvd. & Gwinnett Street.

We were able to distribute school supplies bags, a few book bags, books and first aid kit and a few other items to families, help community members register to vote for the first time, and encourage others to check and verify their voter registration status.

Even with a few challenges at the beginning of the day, everyone stayed committed to the mission, worked together, and remained until the end. That is what partnership and grassroots work look like — showing up, staying engaged, and serving our community.

Thank you to Dr. Pat Harris, Elder Jerome Irvin, Tia Brightwell, volunteers, all of our partners, and community members who helped make today meaningful.

We definitely have something positive to celebrate. When we work together, our community wins. ❤️
