The winner of the NAME THAT BEACH HOUSE CONTEST through Catch of the Day Designs has been decided. It is none other than my dear husband Austin K. Denney. The beach house is now called Love and Luck. It is very fitting for us and is also the title of a Jimmy Buffett song to honor his passing in 2023. Thank you all for all the wonderful suggestions. Happy 2024!

CHRISTMAS VACATION Catch of the Day Designs NAME THIS BEACH HOUSE CONTEST!

Our new Tybee Island beach house needs a name! Austin and I have been living there since early October as we updated and decorated this new investment property, but we are done and back to IOH! This house has been such a fun project for me as it came with great bones, but needed to be redecorated.

Catch of the Day Designs is running a contest for who can come up with the best name for this house. Whoever has the most fitting name will be gifted 5 pairs of earrings from Catch of the Day Designs! I can't wait to see your ideas as I can't figure it out. Currently it is listed on the Tybee Cottages website as Seaside Sanctuary as the house is on Sanctuary Place, and I don't love it. I am looking for something eloquent that matches the feel of this house. Dolphins kept appearing as my sign that this was the house that was right for the Denney family. Dolphins at our IOH house were also my sign that we needed to stay and not sell when our house was compromised after Hurricane Irma. It is hard for me to come up with a name incorporating dolphins that isn't cheesy. I can't wait to see what you all throw out as contenders on this thread. CONTEST ENDS DECEMBER 31st and the winner will be announced on here as we begin 2024.

This house is available for rent as of now- sleeps 14, 5 bedroom/3 baths, an elevator, an empty lot for playing and enjoying a fire pit, a 5 minute walk to the beach, 3 porches to enjoy the ocean view, pingpong table, dart board, 2 refrigerators, a wine cooler, and a fully stocked with board games for the family to name a few amenities. Vacation is over, and back to the real world. Exploring Emerald Isle, NC and surrounding beach towns was a great recharge with memories made that will last a lifetime.
