Filmhub announced the acquisition of worldwide transactional distribution rights to Adrianne & the Castle, a documentary-musical hybrid exploring the true story of Adrianne and Alan St. George’s devotion, creativity, and grief. The film launches December 5, 2025, with additional rights entering the market immediately following the release.
Award-winning director Shannon Walsh and Oscar-nominated producer Ina Fichman the story to cinematic life through an inventive blend of documentary, musical sequences, and re-enactment. The film documents how Alan, a mascot-maker and artist in rural Savanna, Illinois, and his late wife, Adrianne, hand-built Havencrest Castle as both their romantic sanctuary and a worldly escape: "Reality is for Those Who Lack Imagination" was their personal mantra.
When Adrianne dies suddenly, the narrative shifts to Alan’s grief journey—continuing castle construction while transforming his loss into artistic expression alongside Walsh’s cinematic intervention.
