Emotional day...I can't express how proud I am of Travis and Taran today. Completed all 110 stories of the 9/11 stair climb. Then to Mission BBQ for another 9/11 memorial.

I was inspired to make this "Book" while making a custom bookshelf for my neighbors. It has fooled everyone who has seen it🧐😁. It is a piece of wood from a old beam from a rehab property in Baltimore city. @ Savage, Maryland

Bread box I made for a friend. First thing I have made that has NO reclaimed lumber. (Made everything easy to square up though 🤔) I am oddly proud of this piece. The finish turned out better than I imagined, considering it flat wall paint with a watered down antiquing wax. "Bread" and scroll work are cricut iron on vinyl with 5 coats of poly. @ Savage, Maryland

This cabinet began as a 7ft tall front door. I really struggled with this one. I wasn't sure it would work out the way I saw it in my head. It didn't, but that's all part of the process when working with 100% used and recycled wood. The top, with handle and latch in place, came out of an 1880's PA farmhouse. Even though its different than my original vision, I am pleased with how it turned out!

Finished this corner cabinet this weekend. Started as an old door, painted with ordinary interior wall paint, distressed and finished with tinted wax.
