Soo Improv

Soo Improv Learn the art of improv comedy at drop-in sessions lead by Ryan Maurer, former student at The Second City. No prior experience is needed.

Just bring an open mind and lots of energy. The sessions are safe, nonjudgmental, and a ton of fun. Must be 16 to participate.

Had a great weekend of improv at the Detroit Improv Festival! On Saturday, I went to a workshop at Go Comedy! Improv Theater with Michelle Giorlando called Little Scene on the Prairie. Learned a ton about genre, POV, and voice. Friday and Saturday nights, I sat back and enjoyed the art of impov by troupes like Snow Day, World Builder, Brothers Jacokes, Flying Chuck, 2-Man No Show, Played Out, and Impronol!

A huge thank you to the 20+ people who have attended our improv sessions over the past 4 months. It has been a pleasure to watch everyone grow. We're going to take a little break for the summer, but stay tuned for the fall schedule.
