A big shout-out to Fields Farm and Garden for their wonderful donation of beautiful flowers! Our Long Term Care residents are excited to roll up their sleeves and get planting this week. It’s heartwarming to see such generosity bloom, and we can't wait to watch these flowers flourish alongside our cherished community. Thank you!

Residents enjoyed a meaningful Memorial Day celebration filled with smiles, creativity and connection. Throughout the week, we created beautiful flowers, painted rocks and festive signs while spending time together and sharing stories. Exciting improvements are on the way for our Long Term Care unit! We’re proud to share that major renovations are coming that will enhance comfort, accessibility and the overall experience for our residents, families and care teams.

Planned updates include:
✨ A new HVAC system
✨ Updated dining room and refreshed kitchen
✨ Modernized showers and bathrooms
✨ Redesigned nurses’ station
✨ Enhanced accessibility features
✨ Updated interior finishes and improved exterior façade

Most importantly, residents will remain safely in their familiar surroundings throughout the renovation process. We’re committed to creating an even more welcoming, comfortable environment while continuing the compassionate care our community depends on every day.

MyMichigan Medical Center Sault is launching a nearly $19 million renovation project to expand Outpatient Surgery, relocate Behavioral Health and modernize Long Term Care.

From our fun “Dress Like a Crayon” day to a delicious BBQ shared by staff and residents, every moment was filled with laughter, connection and community. We also took time to celebrate the incredible nurses who provide compassionate care and make a difference every single day.
