Notice: Letters of Interest Requested for Building Acquisition
The Recreation Board will begin accepting Letters of Interest for the building located at 122 Sequoyah St, Satanta, KS 67870.
Individuals, businesses, or organizations interested in obtaining the building should submit a letter describing their intent for how the building will be used.
Letters of Interest will be accepted through the Recreation Board meeting on May 12, 2026, at which time the board will review submissions and make a decision.
The building will be donated by the Satanta Recreation Commission Board to the individual or organization they believe:
• Demonstrates the best planned use of the building, or
• Shows strong intent and ability to utilize the space, or
• Will best serve the community.
Ownership of the building will transfer no later than June 30, 2026.
Postmarked letters must be received before 7:30 PM May 12, 2026 to be considered.
