Update on JC:

We had his initial 2-week follow-up with Ortho, this morning, and we received some good news! He could be in his brace for upwards of 12 weeks, but we will reassess his progress in 6 weeks at the next appointment. He also has to remain under movement/lifting restrictions until the next appointment, BUT he can drive a daily driver, now! At this time, no surgical intervention is needed as long as he continues to progress in his healing and no new symptoms develop! 🙌🏻

His return to work will be at least another 6 weeks, so we appreciate all the love, support, and donations to help us get through! Our family, friends, and this racing community have all been absolutely incredible! We are still so moved and speechless by all of you! Thank you ALL! We will keep you updated as he progresses! 🤍

Attention Race Fans: FUNDRAISER FOR JC BOYER!

Throughout the season, many have asked, “hey, man. When are you going to have T-Shirts made?” Well, guys, the time is NOW! Designs by Olivia James: Custom 3D Printed Creations and Bala Management collaborated with The Print Crew to surprise us with the design and fundraiser! We cannot thank them enough!

If interested, we will accept payment via Venmo, CashApp, personal check, or cash. Once paid, your order will be placed. For this first batch, we will be doing PREORDER, only! NO additional shirts will be printed unless ordered. Quick update on our guy JC:

Sunday was a very long day of hurry up and wait. He got his brace just in time for PT to go home as they have early weekend hours 🫠 he spent the rest of the day doing much R&R and even had some visitors!

Today, PT/OT came to work with him. In usual JC fashion, he couldn’t be slowed down and surpassed all of their tasks for him with flying colors. They even told him to slow down on the stairs, because they couldn’t walk backwards down them as fast as he was coming down 😂 we are awaiting XRAY with his brace on to make sure he doesn’t have too much flexion or extension mobility. If all is good there, we will be able to go home, hopefully tonight! Follow-up will be in two weeks to see if he is progressing in his healing process or if he will need surgery.

First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you for reaching out via call, text, messenger, and comments. We see you and appreciate you! Our racing community is truly amazing! 🤍 the love and support you all show is so overwhelmingly beautiful!

Now a little update on JC:
He is alert and oriented, just tired from minimal sleep. Thankfully, there was not a loss of sensation or movement, no numbness or tingling, either! Initially, there was some numbness and tingling but it had subsided by the time in ambulance! 🙌🏻

JC suffered two broken vertebrae and is awaiting his spot in the MRI machine, this afternoon. He bought himself some new “drip” in the form of a back brace. Depending on what the MRI shows and his mobility with his brace on, we will be better able to determine his downtime and recovery needs. The team is hopeful that there will not be a need for surgical intervention, and we are so thankful for that!

We will keep everyone updated and again want to thank everyone for reaching out! Please continue to pray for fast healing and health! — Connie Boyer

We want to take the time to thank everyone for reaching out to check in on JC. Unfortunately, he broke his back in two places and is currently admitted in the hospital until at least the morning. We are awaiting to hear next steps once the ortho team comes by and then we will keep everyone updated on the word!

In usual JC fashion, he insisted on watching the races when we got to the ER! I stood holding my phone over him so he could watch his friends put on an awesome show! 😂 At the finish of the race, his words were that it was “a great night!”.. if you say so, JC! About gave everyone a heart attack!

In all seriousness, we want to shout out the amazing family and racing family we have. Tonight could not have been any smoother with getting our little guys and the rig back home! I was at home on-call so it was a bit of a doozy trying to think where to begin, but then our village jumped right in to help! 🤍🏁

Last night at Lernerville, JC won his heat against a couple other awesome, heavy hitting drivers. He looked so good! Feature time was a different experience though, not having to blower system hooked up and filling the helmet with so much dust. He is continually growing and can’t wait to get back after it next week!
