🎉✨ Tomorrow, the Petipa Ballet Association will honor the legendary costume and stage designer Jürgen Rose with the Petipa Award for Lifetime Achievement and Exceptional Contribution to the Art of Stage and Costume Design 🌟.

The Petipa Award ceremony will be following the performance of “Mayerling” by the Das Stuttgarter Ballett choreographed by Sir Kenneth MacMillan.

Jürgen Rose has collaborated with icons like John Cranko, John Neumeier, and Marcia Haydée, leaving a remarkable legacy in ballet and opera. Along side of Stuttgart Opera, his iconic works have graced the stages of renowned venues such as:

🏛️ Royal Opera House, London
🏛️ Metropolitan Opera, New York
🏛️ Vienna State Opera
🏛️ Teatro La Scala, Milan

His contributions continue to inspire new generations of stage and costume designers already more than 6 decades. This event marks the 4th laureate ceremony of the 2025/2026 season. We feel incredibly honored that we can celebrate such a giant world theatrical world. Petipa Ballet Asociation will be represented by founders and choreographers Vasily Medvedev and Stanislav Feco as well as Elisa Carrillo Cabrera- artistic director of and esteemed member of Honorary Council of Petipa Ballet Association. Today, we are excited to reveal the third distinguished name joining the Petipa Ballet Association’s Honorary Council: Septime Webre, Artistic Director of the Hong Kong Ballet and renowned choreographer.
