Goodness, it seems like forever since I recorded and uploaded anything! Why is that? On top of doing a deep dive into website building using a temperamental 20 year-old desktop, we have struggled badly with connectivity issues for the last several weeks. Supposedly Spectrum upgraded everything, but now it’s worse than ever and now they are telling us we must schedule a technician to come out so I don’t know.

But finally, after several weeks of many long days in front of the computer, the website is finally more than just a barebones scaffolding that functions properly. It’s bursting with products, galleries and the stories behind why I do what I do. It’s vibrant and interactive and will be super easy to add to as I create new work. We are in the process of transferring the domain names, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’m still trying to wrap up the last bit of details, get my house back in order, and practice piano for 3 sets this weekend so bear with me while I pivot lol 😅 I really appreciate your patience ❤️

I’ve been recording a new type of landscape orientation weekly vlog format for my YouTube channel, so I’m interested to see how that comes together! Stay tuned 📺👀

My friend mentioned to me at the dreaded jeopardy night that she hasn’t seen as many posts lately and wondered if I was doing okay. That was honestly so touching and also made me realize that I have been a little neglectful of my and platforms since my zeal has been ignited! I’ll try to stay more well-rounded in the future 😝

Anyways, I’m cleaning up some of my paintings for their final photo shoot before being uploaded to the new website, and this one needed it the most!

Interested in a reproduction?? We just successfully created prints and tested a sale on the new website! We are just transferring domain names and uploading enough at to make it worthwhile, but technically we are live and so much closer than we’ve ever been before 🥳

William was only all too happy to give this painting a home in the office lol! I’ve been essentially creating an art catalogue and adding inventory to the website. We also have been testing the printer and it is capable of some serious color saturation 🤯

Hugging is a surefire way to help a panic attack. It’s not manipulative neediness- our bodies can’t help it! Anxiety produces cortisol, hugs produce oxytocin, and oxytocin naturally fights cortisol. You know what that tells me? There’s not enough hugs in our world 😬😅

This image also reminds me of the prodigal son story. It’s something that is always in my mind, having had my own prodigal experience.

Anyways, I ended the first anxiety series that I did in watercolor with this painting. It’s the only time (so far!) that I went outside the lines and add doodles here and there.

If case you’re wondering why haven’t I published any of this before: I don’t know, I just didn’t think I was any good I guess lol! Now I just don’t care 😝
