We drove by the Annandale Mansion today. I am reminded that this building's stonework was done by my 2nd Great Uncle, Owen Reynolds. The mansion is on the corner of Clinton Street where I live. Now that is something. Copyright Ksan Moody.

The Saratoga Community Garden awaits me at Wesley Retirement Community next to Embury Apartments. This morning some of us are weeding and I plan to chop down the invasive species of white thistle, common reed, and pink loosestrife.

Make sure you check out the storefront windows during the Racing themed window decorating contest!! Businesses will be decorating their windows, where they will then be judged and a winner will be announced on NYRA TV!

Sounds like I want to go if not too hot. I can take the late afternoon bus right to downtown and stroll around or go for a bite to eat before the event if I have time to kill.
