Today, S**C celebrates 10 years of leadership with CEO Elizabeth Sobol!

Since arriving in 2016, Elizabeth has helped transform S**C into a year-round cultural organization—expanding programming and education, reimagining our campus, and creating new opportunities for connection, creativity, accessibility, and wellbeing.

Her vision for S**C’s future continues to unfold with the historic renovation and reopening of Spa Little Theater, set to conclude S**C’s 60th anniversary year.

Here’s to 10 extraordinary years, Elizabeth—and to everything still to come!

We’re still thinking about all that was created at Summer Arts Camp this year.

This summer, young people from across the Capital Region came together at S**C School of the Arts to experience the joy of making art together. Alongside our teaching artists, campers tried new things and built confidence in a welcoming, creative environment.

Beyond making art, camp was about building community and discovering new possibilities while simply enjoying the experience together.

We believe the arts should be accessible to everyone. In partnership with nonprofit youth and family service organizations, we offered free enrollment, meals, and daily transportation.

Thanks to the generous support of Price Chopper Supermarkets, every camper also received a Summer Arts Camp T-shirt to remember their time at S**C.

We’re grateful to everyone who made camp possible—and especially to the young people who made S**C their creative home for the summer.
