Painter, Clay Sculptor and Teacher in Saratoga Springs, NY More than an artist, I am a creator. Creating from my source is the greatest blessing of making art.

The process of making something beautiful or inspiring is more important to me than the finished product. I began painting when I was in high school and have continued painting on and off for more than 60 years. In the past 10 years, I’ve been drawn to intuitive painting, mixed media, color mixing, and other forms of experimental 2D works. I am still looking for my painting voice and trusting that

my intuition is really the teacher and guide of all I create. For 20 years, I was a clay sculptor and created women in all her Goddess forms. Later, I began to sculpt birds, particularly crows. Birds represent our souls and are our teachers. I have taught painting and clay sculpture throughout the years and in 2001, founded the Beekman Street Arts District, home to a mix of art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, and more in Saratoga Springs, NY.

During autumn, crows assemble in massive flocks for feeding and nighttime roosting. These gatherings can be awe-inspiring, sometimes reaching tens of thousands in number. I've long been captivated by these intelligent creatures, with their sleek, dark plumage and enigmatic cawing. They seem to epitomize the very essence of this season, blending elegance with a touch of mystery. 🖤
