Congratulations to Dance Master Tom and Tamara on a fantastic weekend competing at the USA Dance Kansas City Dance Classic! 🔥

They earned wonderful results in Smooth and Standard, including 2nd place in Senior III Pre-Champ Smooth, 2nd place in Senior II Championship Smooth, and several strong top-three finishes.

They also brought home 1st place in multiple Fun Dances: East Coast Swing, Salsa, Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Switch Role Rhythm!

We are so proud of their dancing, dedication, and continued success representing Dance Fire! 💃🕺

Our Youth Recital video recap is here!

We are so proud of every single dancer who stepped on the floor and shared their hard work, confidence, energy, and joy with us. From our youngest Baby Ballet stars to our Hip Hop dancers and DanceSport students, it was beautiful to see how much they have grown.

Thank you to all of the families and friends who filled the room with so much love and support. Over 100 people cheering for our young dancers made this recital truly special!

At Dance Fire, we are proud to be the only studio in the Capital Region offering a structured DanceSport program for kids with world-class teachers. DanceSport teaches discipline, posture, musicality, confidence, teamwork, and partnering skills — and we love watching our youth dancers grow through it.

Classes start this week (Dancesport, hip hop, baby ballet), and this is the last chance to join our Youth Summer Classes!

We are so proud of the growth of our Youth Program at Dance Fire!

In 2018, we had our very first recital with 11 kids. This weekend, we had 36 kids participating and over 100 people in the audience cheering them on!

It makes us so happy to see our young dancers growing, performing, and becoming more confident each year. We are proud to be the only studio in the Capital Region offering a structured DanceSport program for kids with world-class teachers.

DanceSport, also known as ballroom dancing, is not easy, but it teaches discipline, posture, teamwork, partnering skills, confidence, musicality, and so much more.

We also love seeing our youngest dancers shine in Baby Ballet for ages 2–4, and our Hip Hop students bring so much energy and personality to the floor!

A video recap of our recital is coming soon, and we cannot wait to share these beautiful moments with you.

What a wonderful day being part of the Schenectady Kids Arts Festival!

A big thank you to our little stars, Dashell and Ariya, for their beautiful performance, and to our Dance Fire team, Dance Masters Celene and Ricardo, and Sara, for representing Dance Fire at this special community event.

We love being part of our local community and sharing the joy of dance with kids and families! Thank you to the organising team for inviting us!

We are excited to welcome more young dancers to our new summer classes starting the week of June 8th. Dance Fire offers DanceSport, which is athletic ballroom dancing for kids and truly unique in our area, along with Hip Hop and Baby Ballet classes.

Also, stop by Dance Fire Niskayuna tomorrow, Sunday, June 7th at 1:00 PM, to enjoy our End of School Year Youth Recital. We would love to see you there!
