UPDATE. We have missed our fans so.

To rip the band-aid: Lokey’s Part 2 has been put on hold indefinitely.

I know – shock. It was for us too.

The short story: after selling our flagship location to our friends at Escape Rooms Unlocked, we moved to South Carolina to be closer to family and to open a new location.

We found a great space. About to hire one of the industry’s best designers. We even partnered with Holiday Inn for a “Stay & Play” package. Everything set to open by December.

Alas, our gut said repeatedly to, "Hold off.” And we had to trust our gut. We never want to make things happen on our own, even in the slightest.

With our background in movies, postponing or scrubbing is par for the course for all films. Such is the balance of art and commerce. Of course, that doesn’t make it easier. The things we have planned -- and yes, it’s still present tense -- for Part 2 are grand, immersive, and truly never-been-done before. But they must wait.

We had stayed off social media since moving, only because we expected the next status update to be “WE ARE OPEN.” As that is not the case, we will be more active in posting just to stay in touch with you all. For now, our grand vision has a pin in it. One day that pin may be pulled.

As always, thank you for your fandom. Keep playing rooms. And should anything change, you will be the first to know.

Took a breather from settling in to hit the 200 mark -- then 201 and 202 -- at the always fantabulous ! As we gear up to open our new SC location in [classified], it's such a treat to have such kindred spirits not too far away. Places like this raise the bar so high from arriving to leaving. And easily some of the best Gamemasters around. Here's to their new games. SC is primed for an escape room Renaissance.
