An extraordinary painting. A century of history. A new chapter in Sarasota. 🎨

Frank Weston Benson’s The White Heron, painted in 1924, takes a prominent place in the Observer’s recent feature on Andrew Ford Fine Art.

Andrew describes the painting as “amazing” and “hypnotic”, a work that invites you to pause, look closer, and spend a little more time with it.

Written by Marty Fugate, the article also explores Andrew and Susan McLeod’s commitment to celebrating Sarasota’s artistic heritage while creating space for the artists shaping its future. From historic works to contemporary exhibitions, Friday happy hours, and collaborations with Burns Court Cinema, bringing people together through art is at the heart of what we do. ✨️

Thank you to Marty Fugate and the Observer for sharing our story!
