To my dancing friends,

Hi , My name is Catia Maloney and I am fundraising for my husband of 40 years, Daniel Maloney.

He contracted covid 19 and was admitted to Boca Regional Hospital on August 16th 2021 where he is fighting for his life. He was intubated four days later after developing blood clots in his lungs and is now in a coma. His kidneys are now beginning to shut down and his hospital bills are already over $100,000.00.

Danny has been a professional Ballroom Dancer and teacher since 1980, a profession that he has dedicated his life to, and has loved since I first met him at the age of 24.

Together, we have 7 children including one son that we adopted at the age of 15 and while all of us are trying desperately to handle these overwhelming medical expenses, the loss of income and ever rising living expenses have already depleted all of our savings.

We ask all of you whose lives have been touched by this wonderful man to please send your prayers and help us if you can. The Dancing world will be a very different place without this loving, kind and generous man.
