Sarasota Anime-Fest 2026 may be over, but our next event in Sarasota is already on the way!

On Saturday, February 20, 2027, we’ll be back at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium for PokeKon-Fest Sarasota, a full day focused on Pokemon, TCG, collectibles, vendors, artists, trading, special guests, panels, activities, and a cosplay contest. We already announced special guest Emily Bauer, voice actress of Dawn, Cynthia, Officer Jenny and many more from Pokemon Diamond & Pearl.

Whether Pokemon was one of your favorite parts of Anime-Fest or you’re looking for an event built around cards, collecting, gaming, and the Pokemon community, make plans to join us from 10am–5pm at 801 N Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Parking is free.

Admission is $20, with tickets available online or at the door. Kids 11 and under are free, one per paid adult, and additional kids are $10 each.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sarasota Anime-Fest and spent the day celebrating anime, cosplay, art, and fan community at Robarts Arena.

We appreciate every fan, family, cosplayer, collector, and first-time attendee who came out for the show. Your enthusiasm during the panels, guest Q&A, Anime Trivia, Anime Lip Sync, and 4pm Cosplay Contest helped make the day special.

A huge thank you to voice actor Adam Gibbs for joining us, meeting fans, and being part of the event. We also want to thank all of our vendors and artists for filling the show floor with collectibles, artwork, handmade creations, merchandise, and so many great finds.

Thank you to our cosplay judges, panel hosts, and volunteers for contributing their time and helping everything come together throughout the day.

Sarasota Anime-Fest is happening today from 10am-5pm at Robarts Arena.

Come spend the day with voice actor Adam Gibbs, explore a full show floor of vendors and artists, and enjoy Anime Trivia, Anime Lip Sync, the guest Q&A, and more throughout the schedule.

The 4pm Cosplay Contest is open to all characters, ages, builds, and experience levels. Entry is free, signups are available during the show, and the final call to enter is at 230pm.

Robarts Arena is located at 3000 Ringling Boulevard in Sarasota, Florida, with free parking available. Admission is $20, and kids 11 and under are free, one per paid adult. Additional kids are $10 each.

Tickets are available at the door all day, with multiple payment methods so come by anytime before 5pm.

Only 2 days to go until Sarasota Anime-Fest, and if you’re planning to enter the cosplay contest, here are the times you’ll want to know before Saturday!

Cosplay contest sign-ups are free at the event, so bring your costume and get registered during the day:

10:30am — Cosplay Contest Sign-Ups Open
2:30pm — Cosplay Contest Sign-Ups Close
3:30pm — Cosplay Contest Check-In & Lineup
4:00pm — Cosplay Contest Begins

The contest is a chance for cosplayers of different ages and experience levels to get up on stage and show off the characters, costumes and creativity they’re bringing to Anime-Fest. Just make sure you’re signed up before the 2:30pm deadline and back for check-in and lineup at 3:30pm.

Two days to go until Sarasota Anime-Fest, so gather your friends, bring the family, and make plans for a full Saturday of anime fun at Robarts Arena.

Whether you have been an anime fan for years or are bringing someone to their first Anime-Fest, there will be plenty to enjoy together. Meet voice actor Adam Gibbs, browse vendors and artists, discover new merchandise, join the panels, and cheer on the cosplayers during the 4pm Cosplay Contest.

Kids 11 and under are admitted free, one per paid adult, making it easy to turn the show into a family day out. Cosplayers, collectors, longtime fans, and newcomers are all welcome to be part of the community.
