The Big Cat Habitat is a retirement sanctuary for the Circus Animals. Ligers, giraffes, tigers and bears, monkeys, etc.
They also take in exotic animals in need of a home.

Today was so fun. I got to spend the day talking to these lovely ladies.

Armida’s daughter Antoinette worked the elephants as a young girl. She’s on the right in her costume in the lower picture, left in the group picture.
Molly is Alice’s daughter and still works as a clown for the Shriner Circus here in Sarasota.
