We are excited for the 2022 Black History Month program "Black Healing" at New College of Florida, NCF Black History Month, New College of Florida- Outreach and Inclusive Excellence, NCF Student Activities and Campus Engagement! This is the eighth year that we've been presenting this expanded BHM program!

We will have a dialogue series call Healing Dialogues that was funded by a grant from the Florida Humanities Council. We are excited to have the New College Gender Studies Program host us for a Feminist Friday event. We are also excited to work with with the Ringling College Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center, WSLR 96.5 Community Radio, ALSO Youth, and Manasota ASALH this year. Our Sur Lay Bay annual concert is happing in collaboration with New Music New College. Lastly, our "Reclaiming Wellness" symposium will present some amazing local vendors, health and wellness practitioners, and shorts from the Visions of the Black Experience Film Festival. This program is also being supported by a grant from the Andrew Mellon Foundation. Our website also contains information about events organized by other organizations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
