Who We Are and What We Do

The Siesta Youth Chorale will glorify God through song during various events throughout the season at St. Boniface Church and outreach events in the local community. In doing so, we will bring those who hear us closer to Jesus Christ through the wonderful gift of music.

The Siesta Youth Chorale is a ministry of St. Boniface Episcopal Church and an affilate member of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) in America.

Our director is Dr. James Guyer, organist/choirmaster of St. Boniface Episcopal Church who holds a Doctor of Music in organ and literature from the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music. His degree also included an emphasis in choral conducting and vocal pedagogy. Dr. Guyer has over 10 years of experience working with children’s choirs, both within and out of the church.
