Yesterday afternoon we hung our Creative Liberties group show at and to say we’re excited is putting it mildly!! Shout out to .hohlt and Daniel Raffo for helping us get the art up and looking spiffy!! Starting TONIGHT we’ll have artists doing demos in the space each night (through the 31st) from 4-8pm! Stop by, say hi, see the art and add something cool to your art collection!

Reception is this Friday the 29th, 5-8pm and Art Ovation is located at 1255 N Palm Ave in Sarasota!

While many of us enjoy a day off and maybe beach days or picnics, we should all remember the true reason for this day - to honor and mourn those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country - so that we could enjoy those freedoms we hold so dear. This isn’t about politics, or which side you’re on - it’s about courage, sacrifice and the willingness to do something many simply wouldn’t be able to.

If you’d like to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance - at exactly 3:00 p.m. local time, Americans are asked to pause for a minute of silence to honor the fallen. 🙏❤️🤍💙

TELL EVERYBODY!! ☎️📡🤩👏This week our Creative Liberties artists are taking over the studio at and we’ll have lots of wonderful art for you to see! In addition to the art, each night (Tuesday-Sunday, May26-31) 2-3 of our artists will be demoing live for you to come check out! AND there is a reception/ ‘s birthday party that YOU are invited to join us for on Friday the 29th from 5-8pm!! 👏🥳🫶

Join us tomorrow, Saturday May 23, between 9:30am-Noon at our 927 N Lime Ave location for Family Art Day!! This will be a fun morning of making Summer Journals with CeeCee and Paige from 👏😍👏

As always this is a FREE event, suitable for all ages and skill levels. No RSVP required, but we do suggest arriving before 11am to have time to complete the project!

Creative Liberties invites artists of all backgrounds, mediums, and experience levels to participate in 100 Years of Marilyn, a playful pop-up exhibition celebrating the life of the legendary Marilyn Monroe. This is your chance to pay homage to this cultural icon who would have celebrated her 100th birthday this coming June 1!

This is a non-juried show, one entry per artist, $25 entry fee

CREATIVE MARK MAKING EXPLORATION!

Get your creativity flowing in Creative Mark Making Exploration! Discover how unexpected “art tools” can create exciting marks and textures that bring new life to your paintings and mixed media pieces. You’ll leave inspired – and you may never look at everyday objects the same way again.

$10 per student supply fee. Students will bring their own paints and substrates.

🎨🎼 We are SO EXCITED for “The Art of Music”, a collaboration between CL and 👏🥳👏

Tomorrow and Saturday, at our 927 N Lime Ave location, 25 artists will be creating art while taking in the music played by the amazing Zota Quartet! We can’t wait to see what the music inspires them to make!
