I’ve been making some garden stakes lately and cannot wait to see them in the garden or in a potted planter. They are attached to a 12” piece of flat aluminum and measure about 8 1/2” in diameter.

This small Hummingbird House was turned on a lathe in our wood studio. It was then enhanced with the wood burning technique known as Pyrography with a Gingko Bilbao design and painted. Measures approximately 6 1/2” tall and 2” in diameter.

This small Hummingbird House was made in our studio on the lathe from woods that were locally sourced and saved from the wood pile when cut. The inlace in the back was done because at knot in the wood had to be removed. The Amazonian stone was crushed in the studio and inlace into the piece for
