I love Christmas music but as many of you know, Christmas Music Overload is a real thing! Some years, by Christmas night I am ready to chuck my radio out the window, So I have been working on ways to prevent that by curating a massive collection of amazing holiday songs that includes all the traditional favorites, but also hundreds of Novelty Holiday Songs, such as “Dogs Love Christmas Too,” and “Santa Stole My Girlfriend,” along with my precious collection of Christmas Reggae tunes.
This season, Mountain Stream Radio is featuring the best selection of traditional and non-traditional holiday songs, many of which, I guarantee you have never heard before! But the clincher is that this year, every other song is culled from the classic MSR archives…songs you know and love…And I think that is the key ingredient to prevent Christmas Music Overload. Smooth Criminals are the big winners in the Season Six 'Race for Tequila!' Then, we have a three-way tie for second place between 'Still Really Bad at This,' 'Nacho Your Average Trivia Team,' and 'Free the Chips!' CONGRATULATIONS! Can I get a rep from each team to send me a contact phone number and Walter will call you to make arrangements to get prizes to the winners. Last night's Trivia saw fewer teams participate as a result of concerns over crowd size warnings, but that did not dampen the excitement of the evenings competition! Team Walter and the Casa Rascals came out on top with a big win (Walter's first ever foray into the world of trivia)! However, his team was disqualified because 'friends and family' are not eligible for competition! That put "Free the Chips" in first place; "Smooth Criminals" in 2nd & "Nacho Your Average Trivia Team" in 3rd. That puts "Smooth Criminals" in a comfortable lead for the 'Race for Tequila' and a three-way tie for 2nd place going into the Season Finale next week. Don't be surprised, however, if you see some big upsets next week. The suggestion is out there for a sudden death round which would involve an 'Ultimate WAGER ROUND' for Tequila Points...Could it happen? Come find out next Thursday...
