Only in Sapulpa… 😂
Most people saw a flooded street.
One guy saw an opportunity. 🛶
🎉 Our favorite captions for this photo: 🎉Since Sapulpa is known for being a community that turns their tears into something beautiful. We as Sapulpan’s know how to smile, laugh while crying & crawling ( kayaking) to the finish line.
🚣 “Hickory Street Marina — grand opening was apparently last night.”
😂 “Route 66 has seen a lot of things… but a kayak on Hickory might be a first.”
🌊 “The City of Sapulpa Gov. said watch for high water. He heard ‘waterfront adventure.’”
🚕 “Sapulpa’s newest Uber service is surprisingly efficient.”
🏡 “Breaking News: Property values on Hickory now listed as ‘lakefront.’”
All jokes aside, we hope everyone affected by last night’s flooding is safe and doing well. Praying for safety for all. Thankful for this young man who was helping his community on his kayak. Tomorrow we are giving away free sourdough, eggs, and have a basket labeled FREE filled with community groceries ( until we run out ) to anyone in need. Our hours are: 10am-6pm.
