Hi friends and fans of SILVERMINE!
It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 2 YEARS since SILVERMINE "wrapped up". That epic show at the Downtown Cafe Bar & Grill will live in my memory for a long time.
Most of us are still in touch. Tom has adjusted nicely to living in Arizona and enjoying retirement life. He joined a church fairly quickly and enjoys playing with the worship groups. TE and Libby are raising their kiddos.. guiding them through the high school years. George finally got back to his house projects!
Me... (EV)... I recently became "official" with the group, 8-Track Highway . It's a great fit for me and I hope, for them too. There are (6) players .. and (4) of us sing. We play what they call "California Rock". Covering tunes by artists like The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Doobie Brothers, Ronstadt and more. I sing lead on alot of the songs, and get to do FUN THINGS (they trust me...) with harmonies. It's a different vibe (and a different wardrobe!) but I love it.
