So a couple of weeks ago I called my incredible friend Gabby on my way home from a photography workshop, and asked her to give me just ten minutes of her time for a mini photoshoot, because even though I was absolutely exhausted from the day, I just didn't want to be done shooting yet! So Gabby, the amazing and kind women that she is, agreed! We set a timer for ten minutes, and just used locations in and around her yard, and it was sooooooooo much fun! I am so pumped to share some of my session with Jess today! Jess is seriously one of the coolest people I know, not to mention one of my best friends! She is brave, kind, strong, loving, dependable, smart, active, and gorgeous as all get out!

I have a lot of theories when it comes to photography, and if you get me started talking about them...sometimes it's hard to get me to stop. I am so incredibly grateful for my amazing husband! He is my best friend, and biggest cheerleader! He supports me in every way, and even let me drag him up the canyon for fall family pictures, and only laughed a little when I, repeatedly, tripped over my own feet as I ran over after setting the timer. There is nothing quite like the relationship between a mother and her daughter. My mom is one of my very best friends, and has always been there for me no matter what, and I am so grateful for her. Marriage is the absolute best, but it doesn’t mean I don’t still miss this girl! Elise and I were roommates for two years, and you won’t find anyone out there who is more funny, smart, or kind than she. Not to mention drop dead gorgeous!
