Sharing with you that I had an AMAZING experience at HUMAN TECH WEEK, May 11 – 14 in San Francisco, which was a brilliant convergence of high minded movers and shakers, working towards utilizing the power of technology to improve our lives.

This conference is the brainchild of Nicole Bradford, who is pictured with me here, who started producing events like this many, many years ago with "Transformational Tech Conference", when new technology was emerging on the scene.
At that time "new technology" was just beginning to demonstrate that it was going to be a powerful force in our world. She coordinated the top innovators to establish that we could use technology to create "GOOD" in our world.
The Human Tech Week focused on three major tracks, bringing brilliant minds together to share the latest developments in technology, including obviously the rapid evolution of AI:
- WORKFORCE TRANSFORMATION – AI-powered talent upskilling, organizational adoption strategies, and future-of-work pilots.
- LONGEVITY & PREVENTATIVE HEALTH– AI + biotech + mental health innovations for lifespan extension.
- ABUNDANT SMART CITY & ENERGY – Smart-grid, affordable housing, civic resilience, and municipal integration.
My favorite was the "Health Track". Called the "HOPE Summit", it brought together an extraordinary group of researchers, clinicians, technologists, and builders to explore the full arc of human health — from reversing chronic disease and rethinking aging, to the science of stress, sleep, relationships, and purpose.
That is Dean Ornish, in the top picture, who is one of the original holistic health doctors form the beginning of the movement in the 80's.
The bottom line is our healthcare is going to be revolutionized to offer so much more, very quickly. We are going to have much more access to top leading-edge information, that can address us very personally, and also be much more economical.
Along with the information that was shared one of the MAIN BENEFITS was networking with brilliant, very innovative, motivated, hugely successful and highly productive people, that are really using the tools available at this time to create huge benefits for our world and life.
It was all AMAZING!
But I want to SHARE one more CRITICAL THING.
While I was witnessing extremely positive opportunities, brilliant solutions, and lots of money and funding business and research was circulating at the conference, once I stepped out of the door on Market St. in San Francisco, it was TRAGIC!
As I walked out of the conference center, I was faced with a huge discrepancy of exactly the opposite, with many people that were HOMELESS, ON DRUGS OR ACOHOLIC, and had MENTAL ISSUES, and were completely down and out.
It's not like I haven't seen that before when I go to that area, but it was such contrast to what was possible. And the "creating good" part that so many people in that conference were creating, is not reaching so many challenged people in our society.
ALSO the my UBER driver told me, as he drives hundreds of people around San Francisco, he said that, "NO ONE IS HAPPY". I said "No one?" He said " YES! People complain that they are having a hard time surviving financially. And the people with money complain about their personal lives.”
We all understand that because so many of us who have so much in this world, living where we do, yet we still complain.
"So, lots of takeaways" from that journey.
