Carolyn Clark Elementary | San Jose, CA

Refreshing an existing play space is a great way to extend its lifespan. For this project, we paired a play equipment retrofit with a surfacing upgrade. We replaced targeted Landscape Structures components, including a new slide and transfer station, to ensure long-term safety and compliance.

To complete the transformation, we upgraded the old surfacing to beautiful, low-maintenance ForeverLawn Playground Grass. The result is a clean, welcoming, and durable environment ready for years of fun!

We are pleased to highlight the play space at Diablo Vista Park in Danville.

This project is a great example of cohesive park design, bringing together active recreation with the play structure and comfortable site furnishings that encourage community gatherings and enjoyment of the space.

In partnership with the Town of Danville, the playground features high-quality Landscape Structures play equipment paired with durable DuMor site furnishings. By coordinating dynamic play features with matching benches the park offers a welcoming, functional environment for visitors of all ages.

Baroni Park in Chico, CA

Good design is all about balance! At Baroni Park, we utilized a smart surfacing layout to maximize both play value and accessibility.

By installing custom Surface America Poured-In-Place (PIP) rubber pathways directly through the engineered wood fiber, we created clear, accessible routes to the play structures. This innovative approach ensures the play area is highly inclusive and easy to navigate, without requiring full-site PIP surfacing.

Anchored by the whimsical SmartPlay Tree Tops and Sprig designs from Landscape Structures, this park is a beautiful, welcoming space for kids of all abilities to play together.

This custom playground brings the local landscape to life with standout features like the larger-than-life egret climbers, complete with outstretched wings and tunnel slides, plus cattails and reeds post toppers woven throughout the space.

Inclusive play is built in with the Friendship® Swing and We-Go-Round®, while DigiRiders® and the Oodle® Swing keep the energy going. There’s even HealthBeat® fitness equipment for users 13+, so the whole community can get involved.
