We are very saddened not to be reopening the Raven Film Center. It has always been a project of love for us. The Raven was the first movie theatre in the North Bay to feature wine, craft beer and an expanded food menu. Unfortunately, in this new world, all movie theatres are faced with uncertainty, small theatres already being at a disadvantage. The attendance had fallen in past years and being shuttered for six months with doubt surrounding a quick bounce back was just too much to overcome. A little jewel like the Raven Film Center is simply a casualty of the pandemic.
We humbly thank the people of Healdsburg for their patronage and support. We have a strong affinity for community and filmmakers and our deep appreciation goes out to those who previewed their work here and the special interest groups who trusted us with their fundraisers.
We are grateful to our employees who have suffered along with us during this mandatory shuttering, and where possible, would like to find a home for them in our other theatres when we are allowed to reopen. We hope you will join us again then as well.
