Shemekia Copeland returns to Monterey Jazz Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26. We’re excited to welcome her back for multiple shows:
🎶 She’ll join Christone “Kingfish” Ingram in the Arena for an intimate Blues Jam at 12:30pm
🎶 Later in the day catch her on the Garden Stage (grounds) for a stand-out Blues performance at 3:15pm.
The Chicago Tribune says, “Copeland is the greatest female blues vocalist working today. There’s no mistaking the majesty of her instrument, nor the ferocity of her delivery.” Arena or Grounds, you can't go wrong.
Get your tickets and we’ll see you soon!
