Some of these are a repost, but wanted to share... I'm really noticing a big trend in my studio of book-inspired tattoos and it's been making me really happy! To see so many folks get involved with reading and to become so passionate about it makes my heart sing. Lifelong reader here! These are some of my favorite literary tattoos of the past year or so...inspired by a book or a character in a book or a bio of a person.

I would love to hear from y'all to see... what are you reading these days? I'm hoping to start a literary-themed event at the shop. Would you have any interest? Let me know in the comments.

My clients really inspire me! This particular client just overcame a huge health challenge and wanted to get a tattoo to celebrate a new beginning...a Life 2.0 for herself. She sat for over three hours on this thigh piece today. We had a lot of laughs, good conversation, and lots of 70s rock. I'm so grateful for the trust, and to all of you who have sat in the chair here. I'm continually inspired by you all! Fineline and single needle on these peony tattoos. All blackwork.

Some cute additions to a cottagecore sleeve I've got in progress here! My client seriously is the best. She has cool ideas, sits like a rock, and shows me cute cat pictures. (That's the price of admission here - show me cats!) Looking forward to continuing on with more soon!

My schedule is getting more and more full by the day, but I'll be opening some more dates on my calendar for regular days and walk ins starting in October! If you're interested in a future tattoo from me, just look for the link that's in my bio to make your request. :)

Real ! I'm back to painting regularly when it comes to tattoo designs. And I'm really obsessed with this sheet - black and grey or color, I would love to do one of these for you! I'm gone much of this month but have a random opening on September 15 (not my usual day but I'll be in due to my travel schedule). If you'd like one of these that day, send me a message! Nine years in business at today. From my first tattoo MANY years ago now to today, it's been one hell of a ride. I am so grateful to still be standing, to still be working in a TOUGH business that has all the ups and downs and in-betweens. Thank you to all of the clients who have come in the door over the years and to those who trusted me very early on who helped me get started. I'm proud of where the shop is now. (And although I play a lot of Fleetwood Mac and mellow music for the sake of my clients, I picked some Motorhead in this post for the purpose of authenticity. ;) Metalhead forever.) Thank you all!!!

Summer tattoo photo dump! Color, blackwork, bold, single needle...all of the above. I've been so behind on posting my actual TATTOOS, sheesh! But here are some I've done, some in progress, some working around existing work. I get asked all the time if I'm interested in working on a particular tattoo. Please know I'm happy to tattoo WHATEVER YOU WANT so long as it's in my skill set. My favorite tattoo is the one that makes you happy. Booking for the fall months! This isn't a rant at all, I'm just super over digital everything. iPads, digital art, digital drawings, AI controversies, digital editing. I got into tattooing because it's a good old fashioned craft, hands on, and about human connection. I've been carving out the time in my crazy schedule lately to take the time to actually PAINT tattoo flash one hundred percent by hand. Starting with sketches in a sketchbook. No iPads. It's really rejuvenated my love for tattooing and why I got into this in the first place. Hope you enjoy this little collection of new sheets I currently have in progress plus the new sheet I just finished up and framed today! If you're interested in any of these designs let me know right away...my availability in September is kind of weird due to two weeks of travel and I'm working on my off days. Would love to fill some time with one of these ideas!
