Friends,

Please send a letter today to urge state legislators to restore state arts funding.

Last year, the California Arts Council budget took a significant hit and was cut by $5 million for two years, reducing its funding to just $21 million to serve the entire state. Assemblymember Chris Ward from San Diego, in his new role as Chair of the Arts, Entertainment, Sports, and Tourism Committee, will request to restore that funding in the 2025-26 budget.

Take action today! Send a message to the Governor and your legislators about the importance of public funding for the arts and to urge them to support restoring the $5 million to the CAC.

I'm delighted to be co-sponsoring a celebrity reading to benefit the Harris/Walz campaign! Donate now to reserve your seat! (100% of proceeds go to the campaign)

This is a timely, politically charged drama about two families and the bounds of friendship. Features a stellar cast, including Emmy-award winning actresses Jean Smart ("Hacks") and Sheryl Lee Ralph ("Abbott Elementary").

Don't miss your chance to see a gripping, thought-provoking play and contribute to Harris/Walz at the same time!
