Our final screening of the summer was followed by another enlightening and enjoyable discussion, and that's thanks to you guys. It's not just good film selection that makes Mind Over Movies. It's the great conversations that follow them, and those can't happen without you. Perhaps there was no one better at directing Orson Welles than...Orson Welles. It feels like there's a "wide shot" joke here somwhere, but that might rob the image of some of its poignancy--although the paradox of jokes and poignancy is what is all about.
