This is the red stool and red music stand that Michael uses in his performances here. We kept them safe for him at Highways.

Tonight, they remain on our stage.

In the spirit of performance and theatre spaces, where a single light is often left burning on a darkened stage, we will keep a light burning for Michael.

For the artist. For our friend. For all that he brought into this space, into our communities, and into our hearts. We love you, Michael. Always. xox ❤️

OPERA, but cracked open—spilling time loops, crab mythologies, and psychic debris all over the stage. 🦀⏳🌀

Original Vision V: Menagerie arrives as part of Opera Fest LA—an incubator where emerging composers go big, strange, and unapologetically alive. Featuring new works + a special appearance by O-Lan Jones—a true wildcard force threading it all together.

It’s opera-theater as experiment, collision, and fevered invention.
