The ADU at our Santa Monica project is a true multitasker—part guest house, part home office, part yoga retreat. We’re giving it a thoughtful refresh with layered wall storage, sculptural lighting, and furniture that balances warmth with function. A small space, reimagined to work beautifully (and calmly) in every mode.

New Project!! My clients which moved into their new home in Connecticut last year, were ready to tackle the final room in the home. They asked that the space blend timeless comfort with organic elegance, reflecting its Connecticut setting.

With a mix of materials, earthy neutrals, muted greens, and soft plum the space will feel warm and refined. I incorporated textures like a woven wallcovering, a nubby area rug, and wood elements to add depth, while touches of plaid and pattern bring personality. Iron and marble details introduce sophistication, and green printed roman shades subtly tie the palette together.

The living room is well on its way to becoming the most inviting spot in the house. Already a beautiful space, it’s now evolving into a room that perfectly balances relaxed comfort with refined, classic New England charm.
