BIG CONGRATS to Stevonna, a member of the housing and education program at the Santa Monica YWCA! She graduated from Santa Monica College with an AA degree and received recognitions from Black Collegians, EOPS, and Guardian Scholars! These are pictures from her graduation day and a celebration given in her honor. She is currently waiting to hear if she will be attending CSULA to study Rehabilitative Services or CSUSB to study Sociology. Congratulations Stevonna! Your hard work is admirable! We are so proud of you!
