Find your healthy place in your kitchen space. Setting up a Smoothie Station is easy.🍌 How often do you get to put everything out there, and leave it out?! Spotlighting your smoothie ingredients in a zone will likely lead to more frequent healthy blending…and healthy savings too.

In this Smoothie Stop, we re-used old mason jars and an extra cheese board (that wasn’t being used in this non-dairy household;)

If you need new airtight containers that are kitchen counter worthy too, makes beautiful glass canisters with bamboo lids.

When it comes to organizing your closet by color, 👚👚 one might agree with “all I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten.” But what about print tops?! What’s the best way to sort those? It’s a matter of personal choice:

Keep prints separate from the solids and color order within each category (print/solid), OR mix your prints in with your solids and order by color. This client preferred the latter. We mixed her gorgeous neutral color prints in with her neutral color solids.

Melting over here on the West Coast.🥵 Heat wave or not, try hydrating daily with lemon 🍋water and take it to go. But first, put an end to the water bottle disarray and give them a home with this bamboo bottle organizer. (Too pretty to put in the cabinet). Keep 🍋🍋🍋nearby.

Monday. Who feels blessed to have ☕️this morning?🙋🏻‍♀️ When a special cousin👧 lets you stay in their beautiful New York home and you’re a home organizer…you give back by clearing their counter and creating a sacred space for their morning coffee ritual. Especially when the cousin is unable to string words together pre-caffeine. 😆

TIPS for COFFEE LOVERS:
☕️Find mugs with words that resonate and remind you.
☕️Sip slowly, and maybe you’ll experience the basics of mindfulness.
☕️Coconut sugar is a great alternative to refined sugar for your coffee. It’s low-fructose, not synthetically modified and has traces of anti-oxidants and minerals. The best part is that this healthier option tastes like brown sugar with a hint of caramel. 😋

Okay, this dates me, but who else remembers the 📸 Kodak X-15 Instamatic?

I found mine when cleaning out my hall closet. While I love guiding clients through the challenging process of parting with non-essentials, occasionally I could use a helping hand with my closet.😉 So, here’s a tough one for me: my very first camera - the Kodak X-1.

Here are the questions I ask myself when deciding whether or not to break-up with a particular item:

🤔Have I used it in the last few years?
(nope, not in about 4 decades)!

🤔Would or could I use it in the next few years? (no, I don’t even know where to get the film anymore or get them developed. Fotomats are long gone).

🤔Would my teenage daughter want it? (A definite no)!

🤔Does it have sentimental value and bring a smile or happy memory to mind? (yep, it takes me back to my carefree low-tech youth)

Get the flip flops🩴contained before summer. Spring cleaning doesn’t have to be an overwhelming overhaul or take up a whole day. Our minds can exaggerate, so conquer the mind - and the closet - with a few simple steps for a big impact.💪🧘🏻‍♀️

🩴Slippers and flip flops can go in a pretty basket that you already own.

👚Refresh your hangers with one type, one color. Try the non-slip velvet slim hangers

🛍While you re-hang, throw at least 10 items in a donate bag.
If your mind fools you into thinking whether to let go of a particular clothing item is an insurmountable decision - ask yourself these simple questions:

Have you worn it in 3 years❓
Does it still fit ❓
Would you notice if it’s gone tomorrow❓

If not, donate and move on. 🏃🏽‍♀️

Uncover treasures when you declutter✨✨. The task of organizing your closet can be surprisingly exciting😮. This client found a favorite scarf (full of travel memories) she thought had been whisked away to the land of lost socks.
