Let’s reintroduce ourselves: CAMILLE DURÁN

Camille is a jack of all trades who brings that same malleability to her artistry as a dancer for Ramos Danza.

Camille tells us a little bit of why she loves the process:
“The process is my favorite part because I love being in the studio with the members of Ramos Danza. We seem to know without words when someone needs more care and when someone needs space. There is so much trust there, and I’ve learned that it continues to deepen with every rehearsal we have together. What I enjoy most is being part of a process that feels so supportive, intuitive, and connected.”

Don’t miss Camille in our next production, ANTHOLOGY #2: Premere which debuts on May 30, 31 and June 1 of 2026 at New Mexico School for the Arts.

Let’s reintroduce ourselves, meet BAILEY OSTDIEK

When she’s not running social media for the Lensic, Bailey pours so much into her first love of dance.

Bailey shares with us the challenges coming up to the show and what makes the work/process so special:

“Being onstage always feels like coming home, and I can’t wait to share this work with our community.

The challenge is letting go of the counting and fully trusting the moment and being fully present.

What makes this work so special is the rare collaboration of original music and dance created together. When those worlds truly collide, there’s something magical (shoutout to )

This process has been deeply therapeutic—helping me loosen my grip, trust myself, and let that transformation live in the work.”

SPRING MATCHING CAMPAIGN IS HERE! 🌳

Our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, does a matching campaign every spring. Between May 4 and May 8 any donation done towards Ramos Danza enters us in a pool to receive a $1,000 donation from Fractured Atlas.

We just finished our biggest fundraising event of the year, in which we were able to fundraise $1,500. This being said, any penny counts and this week is also pivotal for us to reach our $5,000 goal.

If you are able to donate $10 towards Ramos Danza, your impact could multiply by a 100 thanks to this campaign.

All photographs by the amazing Sarah Jacobs.

There is more information in the slides and if you are moved to, donate here:

what a year!

To think that this is our first year as an organization feels SURREAL, because we have already done so much. Open rehearsals, open classes, workshops and classes in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, two performances of ANTHOLOGY #1, two performances of VELADAS, our first choreographic residency, and just so much love. Thank you truly for making this year so special.

I want to acknowledge that a lot of this support is thanks to our amazing dancers. Ale, Lorraine, Sarah, Bailey and Camille are local artists that love both dance and Santa Fe so much. I’ve seen how their friends and family have showed up to support them time and time again.

This being said, we are trying to fundraise so we can do so many beautiful things in 2026, including our next big production. You can donate at the link in our bio through our fiscal sponsor Fractured Atlas. Every donation goes toward artist pay, space rental, purchasing equipment, paying our technical team, and paying the Youth Ensemble made of young artists in Santa Fe.

I hope you will consider donating to us in the New Year and that we might see you in one of our performances.

Much love from all of Ramos Danza

We’re so excited to invite you to VELADAS!

After our well-received debut performance “ANTOLOGÍA #1” we wanted to share our current works in progress in a more intimate setting.

Veladas are small gatherings during the Winter in which we’ll share excerpts of upcoming works, share food, drinks, and have special performances by local guest artists such as Lili St. Anne, DJ Free DaKulo, and more.

We are lucky to be hosting the Veladas at The Hut, a gorgeous studio in Santa Fe. You’ll see excerpts from upcoming work by Artists Director, Fernando Ramos, and our first commission by Mexican choreographer, Gaby Hernández. You’ll also get to socialize with company artists as well as other art lovers while helping us fundraise for our 2026 production. We’ll have delicious food and beverages sponsored by What the Truck and Santa Fe Brewing Company.

Because of the nature of the event, the ticket prices vary depending on the kind of support you want to show. Two tickets of $15 helps us cover our monthly insurance, four tickets of $25 cover a dancer’s rehearsal rate, or ten tickets of $35 help us cover the space rental.

If you want to come but need to pay less or wish to actually donate more, please reach out directly to us at: [email protected]

We hope to see you at one of our Veladas or come to all three, you might catch glimpses of different repertoire 😉 You can go to the link to get a ticket!

FUN RAISER SUCCESS!!!!!!

Thank you is not a big enough sentiment to how we feel about yesterday. Just the like many of the baked good, the sweetness that surrounded the event made it an amazing one.

We appreciate all the support from community members that passed on by and from local businesses that generously gave us items to raffle, such as: and .

If you weren’t able to make it, we hope to see you at the show. 😉

We’ll keep thinking of ways to raise the fun and share time with all of you.

SAVE THE DATE! ✨

We hope you’ll join us for our first FUN RAISER on May 31st! We will be holding a pop-up coffee shop for a few hours where you can enjoy coffee and baked goods with some of the company artists.

This event is a thank you to all of the people that have already supported us and an invitation to anyone who may be curious about who we are, what we are up to, and loves good coffee.

There will be some raffles happening during the event as well, but feel free to pop on by between 11 am and 3 pm on Saturday, May 31.

DM us or text the number on the flyer to RSVP so we can send you the address.

We’d love to see you there to talk about art, dance, and baked goods.
