Now on view through July 5, 2026, in the Window Box at Vladem Contemporary: "Between Heaven and Earth" by Albuquerque artist Marianne Hall.

Working in organza, felt, thread, wire, and metal leaf, Hall explores themes of personal loss and spirituality through a contemplative visual language rooted in domestic craft and alternative materials. Her installation conjures the layered landscape of New Mexico — sculpted pink organza forms suggesting sunset clouds, threaded tendrils evoking virga, and knotted black felt recalling the volcanic rock of southern New Mexico. The gold-leafed walls enshrine the work as a reliquary to a fleeting moment of human existence, inviting reflection on impermanence and the enduring beauty of place.
