This fantastic men's chorus, Parkside Harmony, placed 5th at the BHS International Competition in St. Louis, MO, last month. Hard to believe they didn't win!! This is an amazing presentation of a great rock'n'roll anthem. And wait for the killer falsetto at 3:30. 😱 Kudos to all the singers, their director, and especially arranger Aaron Dale.

If you have not already subscribed to the Barbershop Harmony Society 's YouTube channel? What the heck are you waiting for? Run over there right now, subscribe, and you'll be able to watch a whole bunch of really great barbershop singers perform at the 2026 international convention held in St Louis last month. Run! Do it! What are you waiting for? You'll find out why this very special kind of music has such a hold on the people who sing it.

Many of you may already be aware, but videos of the St. Louis International Convention performances are now dropping on the BHS YouTube page. Be sure to head over to youtube.com/barbershopharmony38 and catch all the new releases as they become available.

Videos are releasing in batches each day to spread the joy over the coming weeks that will culminate in the popular Quartet Finals Rebroadcast scheduled to premiere on the Society's YouTube page on September 2. The Rebroadcast will feature the top ten quartets performing in the same order of appearance they sang in St. Louis, along with special interviews and behind the scenes looks at each group, complete with the calloff.

The Harmonizers along with our friends from Los Alamos, the Lasses and Lads of Enchantment-LALOE , sang a whole bunch of songs at Pancakes on the Plaza, the annual Rotary Club fundraiser that takes place here in Santa Fe every 4th of July. Thanks to one of our former singers who managed to get up close enough for this photo of just some of our combined group.

EXCITING NEWS (at least for our singers!) --

The Harmonizers and our friends in the Los Alamos Lasses & Lads of Enchantment will be singing at the Santa Fe Rotary Club's annual fundraiser on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. Look for us on the bandstand starting at 10 a.m. We'll be singing a few patriotic songs as well as some favorites from our repertoire.

It's great to be a barbershopper in Santa Fe!

If you are in or near Albuquerque on Saturday, June 6, New Mexico's premier chorus, Duke City Sound, wants YOU to see their show. DCS will be participating in the international barbershop singing competition in St. Louis in early July.
